So I've been giving this blog a lot of thought, and I have decided to streamline things. 

I want to build a side hustle around being able to support people in their sales goals, and I know I have at least a hundred different ways to do it (I have a list), but I think I want it to be separate from here. This is going to be about my life, and the things that I learn as I seek out different venues of how to be the most authentic me. 

2018 is going to be a big change for me. I can see it already. 

My plans: 

  • Pay off debts (more details on this later)
  • Look into investments - and make a plan for that 
  • Go away on vacation to somewhere absolutely new to me 
  • Build some kind of side hustle/extra income 
  • Self-publish either my 90 day sales planner OR finally create my own planner 
  • Make more than $55,000.00 (CAN) in 2018. 
It's all do-able and I am going to use all of you to make me accountable. I can tell you the nitty gritties and what works and what doesn't. I am hoping to learn more from others. 

Lately, my attention has been on "Paula Pant and J-Money" podcasts, and I have learned so much in just a few hours. Namely one thing - real estate is sooo much cheaper in the States! So that means I need to learn what works here. I have a pretty good idea, as I have done it all before, but this time it is intentional, and my goal is..... 


Yes, folks, today I learned I care. I want to have something in place where I do not have to work at a 9-5 if I do not want to. If Paula Pant can do it in minimal time, why can't I? 

Debts will be paid. Changes will be made. And it starts now.

Vacation Tales #2: More Nostril Flaring Fun!

Part Two of Vacation Tales:
Oh yes, my darling senior dog had indeed marked my bag. He did the same thing one year ago, just prior to our departure, and managed to sneak it by me until I was at the airport and noticed something funky-smelling… anyways, I digress. We caught it early enough that it was cleanable, and off we go.
It’s a short drive to the airport; about an hour or so. We left the house at 2:30 am, and arrived at the location where we park our car for the week. We had a lovely surprise that our coupon from booking with Sunwing afforded us a low rate of parking for the week (only $60, win!) and they shuttled us to the airport in a prompt manner.
We checked in, and all was well. In due course, we were on the plane, and headed to paradise.
So we thought.

Vacation Tales 1: Nostril-flaring fun

I am back! We arrived back in Canada last night, and what an interesting time we had. In many ways, it was wonderful. In others, your head will shake, your nostrils will flare, and you will be happy that you are reading about my adventure, and not yours! My last post was written at a coffee shop, and that evening, I returned home to find issues with my internet service. It continued on and off until the weekend of the 11th and 12th. For those of you who follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you may have seen my post about exchanging equipment at the local internet provider’s storefront. To my surprise, I received an actual response from the company via Twitter where they actually made an online attempt to “assist me”. TLDR: nothing was accomplished by switching out the modem, and services were down until the technician arrived on Wednesday.
